Brand Identity:
How can you capture a time and place without resorting to “kitsch,” “retro,” or “vintage”? With Heritage Pizza, we undertook the challenge of creating a brand that rang true to its inspiration (1950s pizzerias), and casting it in a modern context.
Execution:
Design a brand identity system that conveys an unadulterated honesty and optimism. We drew from mid-century marquee signage, pizza boxes, and slogans to create a series of marks, illustrations, and tagline.
